ROCK CONNECTIONS PRIVACY POLICY FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

This Privacy Policy for California Residents supplements the information contained in Rock Connections’ general Privacy Policy at https://rockconnections.com/privacy-policy/. It applies solely to all visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). We adopt this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.
CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT
The California Consumer Privacy Act or “CCPA” (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) affords consumers residing in California certain rights with respect to their personal information. If you are a California resident, this section applies to you.
Data Collection, Use, and Sharing
Depending on how you interact or communicate with us, or depending on our interactions with third parties, we may collect the following categories of data from or about you:

Use and Sharing of Personal Information: We may use and share your information with service providers for the business purposes of auditing, marketing, detecting fraud, providing services, and/or internal research.
Sale of Personal Information: California law requires that we provide transparency about personal information we “sell,” which, for the purposes of the CCPA, broadly means scenarios in which Rock Connections has shared personal information with third parties in exchange for valuable consideration.
In the preceding 12 months, Rock Connections has not “sold” personal information.
Your Consumer Rights
If you are a California resident, subject to certain limitations, you are entitled to certain rights regarding your data.
Right to Know:
You have a right to know what personal data we’ve collected about you, what data we’ve sold, who we’ve sold your data to, and what data we’ve shared for business purpose in the last 12 months.
Right to Access:
You have the right to see what specific pieces of data we have about you, and to get this data in a portable and easily accessible format.
Right to Correct:
You have the right to correct inaccurate personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete:
You have the right to request that we delete your data. We’re legally required to keep some data about you, but we’ll delete everything we can.
Right to Opt-Out:
You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information, if applicable.
Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Privacy Rights:
You have the right to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights under the CCPA.

- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of same.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
If we receive your request from an authorized agent, we may ask for evidence that you have provided such agent with a power of attorney or that the agent otherwise has valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf.
